Karen Stiller

Karen Stiller is a writer, editor, and writing coach based in Ottawa, Ontario. She is the author of Holiness Here: Searching for God in the Ordinary Events of Everyday Life (NavPress, 2024) and The Minister's Wife: A Memoir of Faith, Doubt, Friendship, Loneliness, Forgiveness, and More (Tyndale House, 2020). She co-wrote Craft, Cost & Call: How to Build a Life as a Christian Writer and co-edited Evangelicals Around the World (Thomas Nelson, 2015). Her work has appeared in Reader's Digest, The Walrus, Ekstasis, and Christianity Today.

For 22 years, Karen edited Faith Today. Her reporting there won two A.C. Forrest Memorial Awards for socially conscious religious journalism, along with honors for her interview with Kate Bowler and her feature on welcoming refugees in Uganda. She now hosts the NavPress podcast Good Books Big Questions, edits Imagine Journal for the Canadian Bible Society, serves on the editorial team of In Trust, and teaches writing at Tyndale University. She holds an MFA in creative nonfiction from the University of King's College. She is also a student in the Doctor of Ministry in the Sacred Art of Writing program at the Eugene Peterson Center for Christian Imagination.

Karen is the mother of three grown children. She loves cooking for friends, traveling, reading, and time with her dogs.
